Saying I Do - Destination Style

We could be planning your ceremony here!!!

I constantly have brides confessing "I really want a destination wedding"  during our initial consultations. My response is usually the same "then why are you planning someone else's dream?"

Listen loves, this is free advice "IT'S YOU & YOUR FIANCE'S DAY."  Yes, I know there are multiple important people in your lives, people who you want present on your special day, but you must have an honest question with yourself about your vision and your budget.

VISION: What speaks to you and your fiance.... Are you they types that ooooh & ahhhhh over images of nuptials on the sand? You imagine sand between your toes. Linen attire for the fellas? Then you owe it to yourself to be true to YOURSELVES!!

BUDGET: Be honest and really take the time to factor in your overall budget (flowers, photographer, videographer, linens, limos, dress, tux, rings, invitations...etc) then divide it by the amount of guest.     Manage your guest count (every one from your junior high cheerleading squad does not need an invitation). These invitations should be extremely personal. Then consider the budget against what your destination wedding may cost to determine should you have your wedding or the dream of someone elses.

You get to make that choice of happiness on your wedding day.

See the happiness Zakiya & Kevin shared at their JUST I'RIED destination wedding ......

Until next time...Live, Laugh, LOVE
